Abstract
Thevolume-acceleration modelwasintroducedtodeterminetheinitialconditionsforthe
motionofanunderwaterexplosionbubble.AsubcodewritteninFortranlanguagewasdevelopedto
definetheinitialandboundaryconditionsforthefluidfield.Bycombiningthefiniteelementanalysis
softwareMSC.Dytranandtheself-developedsubcode,thedynamicbehaviorsofthebubbleweresimulatedincludingoscillation,
collapse,jetandsoon.Thecomputationalvolume-timecurvesofthe
bubbleinthispaperaremoreconsistentwiththeexperimentalresultsthanthosebytheboundaryintegralmethod.
Thedynamiccharacteristicsofthebubble,whichconsistofvolume,maximalradius,
period,jetvelocity,andsoon,havecloserelationswiththechargemassandwaterdepth.Theobtainedcurvesarehelpfulforthecorrelativetheoryresearchandengineeringcalculation.
