Abstract
TheJohnson-Cookconstitutiverelationsanddamagemodelwereintroducedintothereproducingkernelparticle(
RKP)method,andanewinterfacecalculationmethodandacollocationmethodwereproposedtosolvetheproblemsofinterfaceandglidingparticles,
realizetheboundaryconditionsandadjusttheparticlevelocityinthecomputationalprocess.
TheimprovedRKP methodwas
appliedtonumericallyanalyzetheobliquepenetrationprocessofasteelcylindricalpelletintoafixed
steelplate.Inthecomputation,thepelletandtargetplateweredividedintokernelparticlesother
thanelements.ComputationalresultsshowthattheimprovedRKP methodcanavoidthefiniteelementdeformationinthefiniteelementmethodandtheelementreconstructioninthedamageprocess
andenhanceanalysisaccuracyandcomputationalspeed.AndtheimprovedRKPmethodcanbeused
toconvenientlyanalyzethelargedeformationandhighstrainratephenomenainpenetrationprocess.
