Abstract
Tovalidatethefeasibilityofhigh-speedignitionbydetonationandfindouttheignition
mechanism,anexperimentalsystemwasdevelopedfortheinvestigationofdetonationignitionwithan
in-lineexplosiveinitiator.Thepressurechangesinthetestfacilitiesafterignitionatspecificcharges
weremeasuredbythissystem.Theignitiondelaytimewasachieved0.3msbytheignitionmethod.
Thecharacteristicsofpowderburningandtheattentionsinpracticalapplicationswereobtainedbythe
wayofignition,suchasthestructurestrengthofthetestfacilitiesclosetotheexplosionspot,theattenuationcourseofdetonationwaveandsoon.
Themechanismofthehigh-speedignitionbydetonationwasanalyzed.
Theinvestigatedresultscanprovidehelpforapplyingtheignitionbydetonationto
engineering.
