Abstract
Basedonthefiniteelementanalysissoftware,afiniteelementmodelwasestablishedforthe
rapid-firingguncross-sectiontoexploretheresidualstressintheautofrettagedbarrel,whichwasinfluencedbythehigh-
temperature,high-pressureandhigh-speedexplosivegaswhenshooting.And
thedirectcouplingmethodwasemployedasasolvingstrategytoanalyzetheresidualstressintheautofrettagedbarrelintheprocessof50continuo
sshotsfirstand10shotsaftercooling.Investigated
resultdisplaysthattherepeatedchangingoftheplasticstrainandresidualstressintheinnerwallis
harmfultothestabilizationoftheinnerwall.Andthe measureswereputforwardtoreducethe
changeoftheresidualstress.
